How TECs Are Used in Cosmetic Lasers
TECs do two critical jobs in aesthetic laser systems. In contact cooling handpieces, the TEC chills a sapphire or metal cold tip that presses against the skin, protecting the epidermis and keeping treatments comfortable even at high fluences. Inside the system, TECs also stabilize the temperature of laser diodes and optical components so your laser holds consistent wavelength and power output pulse after pulse.
